About Us
Koepel Mega Zip was established in 2014 and has been a growing attraction for South Africans and foreigners alike.
Situated in the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site, this unique Dual Zip Line stretches between the beautiful mountains, making it a ‘nature-lover’s’ dream.
When visiting us you will enjoy a 4×4 trip up the mountain, escorted by our qualified guides. The Zip Line consist of 2 sets of 600m cables, where you will fly through the air between speeds of 60-80 km/ph for a total of 1200 m!
Koepel Mega Zip is found near the quaint towns of Parys and Potchefstroom, which are both attractions for weekends visitors and adventure seekers. We are also situated near the Vaal River and surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife in the area.

Costs involved are R470pp for adults & children.
Summer months: 08:30, 10:30, 12:30 & 14:30.
Winter months: 9:30, 11:30 & 13:30.
Our Zip Line is a one of a kind, DUAL Zip Line, that consist of 2 sets of 600m each. This results in a total of 1200m on the Zip Line cable.
We are situated in the beautiful Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site, near the popular towns of Parys and Potchefstroom.
We drive you up and down the mountain where our Zip Line will be, but there will be short walks between the platforms on the mountain.
We cater for a max of 18 persons per time slot, but we welcome groups that are bigger. We have had trips consisting of 1 person and our biggest group has been 81 persons. Please make sure you make prior arrangements if your group is larger than 18 persons.
Our Zip Lining activity does not have an age limit, our youngest Zip Liner was 4 years of age and our eldest 84 years young. However, the smallest persons needs to be 95cm or taller to fit into our smallest harness. The eldest needs to have a basic level of fitness, as there is some walking involved in between the zip lining platforms.
Our weight limit is 130 kg.
Each trip takes between 1 hour to 2 hours, depending on the size of the group. Please ensure that you allow enough time in your day for any delays, bathroom breaks etc that could arise.
Members of your group who will not be doing the activity are welcome to stay down by the office area or do a viewing of the Zip Lining at an additional cost of R20 pp.
